Program Description

Preparing graduates with the highest level of biomedical knowledge, clinical training, and professional ethics, enabling them to become qualified specialists in the field of Clinical Laboratory Sciences to support scientific research, healthcare, and community service.

1: Prepare well-educated and highly competent clinical laboratory professionals to serve patients and the healthcare profession considering legal rules, and ethical standards related to health care services.

2: Encourage students to research and continuing education in Clinical Laboratory Science to address contemporary professional issues in a way that serves society and contribute to healthcare improvement.

3: Graduate professionals with the capacity to participate in leadership roles and effectively collaborate with healthcare team to improve patient outcomes and health care services.

The department attracts outstanding male and female students from the Common First Year, fostering a competitive environment among them based on the placement results announced by the Deanship of Admission and Registration at the end of each academic year and the availability of sufficient study seats. The department applies the same admission requirements as the college, and in the case of transfer from other departments within the college, the cumulative GPA must not be less than 3 out of 5.
