Program Description

To achieve leadership and excellence in health programs in a way that contributes to community service.

1. Knowledge and Understanding
  • Fundamental Concepts: Recognize correctly the core concepts and principles of health education and promotion.
  • Health Determinants: Identify risk factors and determinants that contribute to health disparities and the management of communicable and non-communicable diseases.
  • Theoretical Frameworks: Describe behavioral theories and models used to develop and assess health interventions.
  • Intervention Planning: Outline the fundamentals of planning and implementing health education strategies across the life course. 
2. Cognitive and Practical Skills
  • Communication Strategies: Develop evidence-based communication materials and techniques to deliver up-to-date scientific health messages.
  • Analytical Ability: Calculate health-related indicators correctly and use data to assess community health needs.
  • Research & Evaluation: Conduct original research and systematic evaluations of health promotion programs.
  • Advocacy: Effectively advocate for health issues in both oral and written formats to diverse audiences.
  • Cultural Competence: Construct health education materials that are culturally effective for different community categories.

  • Teamwork & Leadership: Demonstrate strong collaborative skills in multidisciplinary teams and professional management abilities.
