Program Description

The department offers incomparable opportunities for students to experience groundbreaking local civil and environmental engineering projects through a participation in a local training for 160 hours and an international internship in Germany and Extends for 20 weeks.

Upon completing the Civil and Environmental Engineering Program, the student will be able to:

PLO 1: Identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics.

PLO 2: Apply engineering design to develop cost-effective solutions that meet specified needs, taking into account public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, and environmental considerations.

PLO 3: Communicate effectively—both orally and in writing—on complex engineering activities, including comprehending and producing clear reports, design documentation, effective presentations, and clear instructions.

PLO 4: Recognize ethical and professional responsibilities in engineering contexts and make informed judgments that consider the impact of professional and sustainable engineering solutions in global, economic, environmental, and societal settings.

PLO 5: Work effectively within a team, demonstrate leadership, foster an inclusive and collaborative environment, set goals, plan tasks, and achieve objectives.

PLO 6: Design and perform appropriate experiments, analyze and interpret data, and use engineering judgment to reach sound conclusions.

PLO 7: Acquire and apply new knowledge as needed through suitable learning strategies.

PLO 8: Create, select, and use appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools—including modeling and prediction—for complex engineering tasks, with an awareness of their limitations.

PLO 9: Recognize the importance of and engage in lifelong learning within the broader framework of innovation and technological advancement.

PLO 10: Demonstrate management abilities and apply engineering principles to one’s work, functioning as a team member or leader to manage projects in multidisciplinary environments.
