Program Description

In view of the fact that the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is witnessing major development in all fields, especially in health and education, the Faculty was established in 1990 in order to partake in developing the health care services for the citizens. The Faculty is an integral part of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, the first private university in Jordan.

Knowledge and Understanding

K(1): Stay informed about recent developments in drug discovery.

Foundational Basic Knowledge:
Ability to integrate basic and pharmaceutical sciences to support informed medication-therapy decisions.

I(1): Demonstrate strong scientific, logical, critical, and creative thinking skills, and apply them in both professional and personal contexts.

Personal and Professional Development Competencies:
Show commitment to lifelong learning and demonstrate effective communication, managerial, marketing, and problem-solving skills, along with other relevant competencies.

Industrial and Pharmaceutical Formulation Competencies:
Acquire the necessary skills required for work in industrial and pharmaceutical sectors.

Pharmacy Practice Competencies:
Recommend suitable drug therapy, ensure treatment effectiveness, prevent toxicity, and demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy practice across community, clinical, industrial, and pharmaceutical settings.
