The Bachelor of Science in Public Health program provides multidisciplinary perspectives on public health topics in general, and works on planning, monitoring, and evaluating public health projects and programs. It equips students with theories and knowledge of global patterns of health and related diseases, contributes to formulating, implementing, and monitoring health policies, epidemiology, and related qualitative methods. The Public Health program also provides knowledge from theories, methods, and priority settings for assessing health needs, ensuring quality, evaluating and promoting health, and disease prevention measures.
Program Description
- Collaborating with community stakeholders and healthcare professionals to identify and address health disparities through culturally relevant and effective interventions
- Developing a curriculum that integrates interdisciplinary approaches, ensuring students acquire the knowledge and skills to address global health challenges
- Establishing strategic partnerships with local and international health organizations to provide hands-on learning experiences and professional development.
- Empowering students with leadership skills and opportunities to drive community health initiatives.
- Providing active support and mentorship for faculty and students in scientific research, fostering innovation and growth within the public health field.
- A certified copy of the bachelor’s degree (Required).
- A certified copy of the academic transcript record (Required).
- A certified copy of the accreditation decision from the Ministry of Higher Education in the event of obtaining the bachelor’s degree from a university outside the Kingdom.
- A copy of the civil status card for Saudi students or valid Iqama for non-Saudi (Required).
- A copy of the mother’s national identity, for non-Saudi students with Saudi mothers.
- (Original IELTS (Academic Only) or STEP result (Required) or (TOEFL-IBT.
- you are permitted to study (The letter must clearly state permission to study) (Required).
- The result of Graduate Assessment Tests such as GMAT OR GRE is not a prerequisite but it can be attached as support for admission when screening applicants (optional)
- Other required documents per program:
- The classification of the Saudi Commission for(Health care Administration program).
- Work experience (Only for applicants to the Executive Master of Business Administration, Master of Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety).
- Professional recommendation letter (Only for applicants to the Executive Master of Business Administration).
