Program Description

The M.Sc. program has been designed to cope with the modern trends and developments in Mechanical Engineering curricula.

  • Advanced Knowledge: Enrichment of core concepts in engineering problems and increased expertise in a specific area of interest.
  • Analytical & Design Skills: The ability to design complex systems, components, or processes while meeting realistic constraints such as sustainability and ethical responsibility.
  • Research Proficiency: Capability to conduct experiments, analyze data, and produce scientific work suitable for journals or patent registration.
  • Professionalism & Ethics: A high degree of professional responsibility, awareness of global engineering market trends, and effective communication of technical ideas.
  • Leadership & Lifelong Learning: Readiness to fill critical positions in industry and a commitment to continuous skill development throughout their careers.
  • Degree: A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a relevant discipline from an accredited university.
  • GPA: Minimum of “Very Good” (typically 3.75/5.0).
  • Standardized Tests: Scores for the GRE-General (minimum 148 in Quantitative) or the local GAT (Qudarat) may be required.
