Program Description

The program aims to provide high-quality, distinguished education in the fields of tourism, hospitality, and event management within a supportive and motivating learning environment, and to conduct scientific research utilizing the latest technologies and international standards to achieve qualified outcomes that are competitive in the labor market and contribute to serving and developing the community.

Upon completion of the program, graduates are expected to demonstrate proficiency in several key domains: 

Technical Operational Skills:

  • Mastering the use of specialized tourist software systems for hotel and travel agency operations.
  • Executing daily lodging and resort business functions.

Strategic & Analytical Abilities:

  • Analyzing financial data, records, and revenue management systems to optimize operational performance.
  • Applying marketing objectives and sales strategies specifically tailored to tourism facilities.

Service & Cultural Competence:

  • Ability to professionally serve customers of diverse nationalities.
  • Analyzing the social and economic impacts (both positive and negative) of tourism on local Saudi communities.

Managerial & Professional Conduct:

  • Developing leadership skills for managing hospitality teams and resolving operational conflicts.
  • Adhering to the Code of Ethics for sustainable and professional tourism practices.
  • High School Qualification: A diploma (Science or Humanities track) is required, typically with a high school GPA of 85% or higher for competitive entry.
  • Composite Score Calculation: Final selection is based on a weighted average of:
    • 30% High School GPA.
    • 30% General Aptitude Test (Qudurat).
    • 40% Subject Achievement Test (Tahsili).
  • General Criteria:
    • The high school certificate must not be more than five years old.
    • Applicants must be under 25 years of age.
    • Candidates must be medically fit and pass any required department interviews.
