Applicants must navigate a competitive two-stage process beginning with the university’s unified health track.

1. Initial Admission (Unified Health Sciences Track)
All students wishing to enter the College of Pharmacy must first be admitted to the Common First Year (CFY) for health colleges. Admission to this preparatory year is based on a composite score (weighted average):
  • High School GPA: Typically accounts for 30% of the composite score.
  • General Aptitude Test (GAT / Qudurat): Typically accounts for 30%.
  • Scholastic Achievement Admission Test (SAAT / Tahsili): Typically accounts for 40%.
  • Additional Criteria: Applicants must be medically fit and demonstrate good conduct.
2. Program Allocation (Major Selection)
After completing the Common First Year, students compete for seats in the PharmD program. Allocation is strictly based on:
  • Cumulative GPA earned during the Common First Year.
  • Availability of seats within the College of Pharmacy.
  • Specific course grades: Some years may require minimum grades in core CFY science courses (e.g., Biology, Chemistry).
