Program Description

The Pediatrics Residency Program provides comprehensive training in child health care from birth through adolescence.

By the end of their training, residents are expected to:

  1. Assess and manage pediatric patients.
  2. Master the technical skills needed to optimize pediatric patient care.
  3. Perform and master basic invasive techniques.
  4. Perform and assist in all types of resuscitations.
  5. Acquire Emergency Room experience in pediatric patient care.
  6. Acquire autonomy in clinical decision making.
  7. Demonstrate compassion and empathy for pediatric patients and their families.

Medical diploma, certified secondary school certificate, official updated university transcript, passing colloquium exam for Lebanese, IFOM exam, 3 recommendation letters, personal interview.

The curriculum involves:
  • Direct patient care in a supervised academic environment.
  • Didactic lectures, small group conferences, and individual instruction.
  • Exposure to various specialties and subspecialties.
