Program Description
- Scientific Proficiency: Deep understanding of the chemical, biological, and physical principles governing food science, technology, and agricultural production.
- Analytical & Research Skills: Ability to design, conduct, and analyze original research aimed at solving local and global agricultural challenges.
- Environmental Problem Solving: Competency in developing technical and practical solutions for water conservation, resource rationalization, and environmental protection in arid conditions.
- Technological Integration: Mastery of modern technologies and scientific advancements to increase production and improve food safety and quality.
- Strategic Communication: Proficiency in communicating scientific findings and participating in agricultural policy implementation and extension activities.
- GPA: Minimum of “Good” (2.75/5.00) overall, with a “Very Good” (3.75/5.00) in major-specific courses.
- Testing: May require English proficiency (IELTS/TOEFL) and a personal interview with the department graduate committee.
