Requirements

To be eligible for the Master of Engineering & Systems Management (MEM) at Alfaisal University, applicants must meet the following requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree: A bachelor’s degree recognized by the Ministry of Education (MOE) in a related field.
  • Academic Performance: A minimum grade average of “Good” or its equivalent in the bachelor’s degree.
  • English Proficiency: Applicants from non-English speaking countries must demonstrate adequate English proficiency for graduate-level work. Acceptable tests and scores include:
    • IELTS (Academic): 5.5 or higher
    • TOEFL iBT: 65 or higher
    • STEP: 80 or higher (Note: English test scores are valid for up to three years.)
  • Recommendation Letter: One recent letter of recommendation from a professor or manager who can speak to the applicant’s qualifications and potential.
  • Application Fee: A non-refundable application fee of SAR 600 is required for submission.
  • Interview: An interview may be requested as part of the application process.
