  1. Evaluate cybersecurity threats, risks, and vulnerabilities, and formulate appropriate technical and strategic responses to protect digital systems and critical assets.
  2. Assess and apply advanced cybersecurity technologies, frameworks, and standards to design secure digital solutions and address complex security challenges.
  3. Work independently and collaboratively in a manner that reflects ethical, legal, and professional standards relevant to the cybersecurity discipline.

Applicants must hold a recognized bachelor’s degree from an accredited higher education institution. Your exact admission pathway depends on your undergraduate Grade Point Average (GPA) and your academic major:

*Background Qualifications

Direct Alignment: A bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline—such as Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Information Systems.

Professional Alignment: Any bachelor’s degree coupled with validated, relevant professional IT experience or premier industry information security certifications.

Non-Related Fields (Conversion Track): Students with an unrelated bachelor’s degree are still eligible but must successfully complete an admissions interview and pass foundational remedial subjects (covering baseline networking and programming) during their first phase.

Minimum GPA Benchmarks
Direct Entry Track:
Requires a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 (or local equivalent, such as a 3.0 GPA in the UAE, 65% in Australia/Egypt, or a 7.0/10.0 scale in India).

Probationary Entry Track: Applicants with a relevant background and a GPA between 2.5 and 2.99 can be admitted on probation. They are capped at a maximum of 18 credit points during their first term and must maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 55 across their first three subjects to continue.

Conditional Entry Track: Applicants with a relevant background and a GPA between 2.0 and 2.49 can be admitted conditionally. They must complete a maximum of 18 credit points of remedial, non-credit-bearing subjects and achieve a minimum WAM of 55 before starting core master’s modules.

*English Language Proficiency Requirements
Because all coursework is executed entirely in English, international and local students must submit an official score report from an approved, test-center-based exam taken within two years of the course start date:

IELTS Academic: Minimum overall score of 6.0, with a strict sub-score minimum of 6.0 in Reading and Writing, and 5.0 in Listening and Speaking.

TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 79, with individual band minimums of 20 in Writing, 18 in Reading, 17 in Listening, and 16 in Speaking.

PTE Academic: Minimum overall score of 54, with all individual Communicative Skill scores reaching a minimum of 54.

*Document Checklists & UAE Attestation

To finalize a formal offer of enrollment, students must provide verified documentation to satisfy the university and local government frameworks:

Official Transcripts: Certified copies of your bachelor’s degree transcripts and graduation certificate of completion.

Identity Papers: Clear passport copy, UAE Emirates ID (if applicable), and passport-size photographs.
