Program Description

Bachelor of Business in Management helps develop skills that prepare students to deal with people and work effectively in teams. The students will get insights of various management practices in the UAE as well as best management practices of top companies. The learning-by-doing and real-world-experience gained by working on industry projects and business simulations would help to further increase the employability. The program provides opportunities to develop leadership competencies which will enable graduates to stand out in a competitive job market.

Hosting Institution

The program will enable graduates to deal effectively and efficiently with managerial responsibilities while undertaking tasks and challenges in a changing and complex business environment. The program prepares graduates to design innovative business solutions that contribute to the success of organizations from various sectors. In addition, graduates are prepared to analyse business data for solving business problems, as well as take responsibility for business development and manage customer relationship.

Completing this program will provide several exciting career opportunities that include roles such as entrepreneurs, management consultant, business analyst, business development associate, project manager, general administration manager.

UAE Al-Thanawiyya Al-Aama

  • 3-Year Advanced Entry Track: Not available.
  • 4-Year Direct Entry Track: Minimum 70% (Elite/Advanced Track) or 75% (General Track).

Arab Countries Curriculum

  • 3-Year Advanced Entry Track: Not available.
  • 4-Year Direct Entry Track: Minimum overall average of 70%.

British GCE (A-Levels)

  • 3-Year Advanced Entry Track: CCD in three A-Level subjects, plus five IGCSE subjects with a minimum grade of D.
  • 4-Year Direct Entry Track: One A-Level subject with a minimum grade of D, or two AS-Level subjects, plus five IGCSE subjects with a minimum grade of D.

American High School Diploma

  • 3-Year Advanced Entry Track: Minimum Grade C (70% or GPA 2.5/4.0) and a minimum SAT score of 1100.
  • 4-Year Direct Entry Track: Minimum Grade C (70% or GPA 2.5/4.0). SAT is not required.

International Baccalaureate (IB)

  • 3-Year Advanced Entry Track: Minimum 25 points overall.
  • 4-Year Direct Entry Track: Minimum 21 points overall.

Indian CBSE Grade 12

  • 3-Year Advanced Entry Track: Minimum calculated positional score of 10.5.
  • 4-Year Direct Entry Track: Minimum calculated positional score of 7.

Note: The CBSE positional score is calculated using grades in English or Hindi, together with the four best externally examined subjects. Grades are converted as follows: A1 = 4 points, A2 = 3.5 points, B1 = 3 points, B2 = 2.5 points, C1 = 2 points, C2 = 1.5 points, D1 = 1 point, and D2 = 0.5 points.


*English Language Proficiency Requirements

As all courses are taught in English, applicants must provide evidence of English language proficiency.

For 3-Year Advanced Entry

  • IELTS Academic: Overall score of 6.0, with at least 6.0 in Reading and Writing, and 5.0 in Listening and Speaking.
  • TOEFL iBT: Overall score of 79, with a minimum of 18 in Reading and Writing, and 16 in Listening and Speaking.
  • PTE Academic: Overall score of 54, with a minimum of 54 in all Communicative Skills.

For 4-Year Direct Entry (Freshman Year)

  • IELTS Academic: Overall score of 5.0.
  • TOEFL iBT: Overall score of 40.
  • PTE Academic: Overall score of 42.

Important Academic Notes

  • The program requires completion of 144 Credit Points, normally completed over 3 years of full-time study.
  • Students who do not meet the requirements for direct entry may complete an Integrated Freshman Year, extending the duration to 4 years.
  • General elective subjects may be used to complete a second major (such as Marketing or Human Resource Management) within the 144-credit-point degree structure.
  • Students may also replace general elective subjects with approved corporate internships in Dubai, subject to university regulations.
