Program Description

Excellence in the preparation of leaders in Management Information Systems education who will advance management theory and practice, and particularly in Management Information Systems field.

  • Theoretical Mastery:
    • Demonstrate a profound understanding of the foundational and contemporary theories in Management Information Systems.
    • Critically evaluate the evolution of IS research and its impact on organizational behavior and business processes.
  • Original Research & Methodology:
    • Design and execute high-quality, independent research projects using rigorous quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods approaches.
    • Formulate innovative solutions to complex digital transformation challenges facing modern enterprises.
  • Scientific Contribution:
    • Contribute new knowledge to the field by publishing research in high-impact, peer-reviewed international journals.
    • Advance the understanding of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI)Big Data Analytics, and Blockchain within a business context.
  • Critical Thinking & Analysis:
    • Analyze and critique existing literature to identify significant research gaps and practical business inefficiencies.
    • Synthesize multi-disciplinary perspectives (e.g., psychology, economics, and computer science) to address IS-related problems.
  • Ethics & Professionalism:
    • Adhere to the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical conduct in research and professional practice.
    • Evaluate the ethical implications of data privacy, security, and algorithmic bias in corporate decision-making.
  • Bachelor’s Degree: A full-time degree in Business Administration or a relevant discipline (e.g., MIS, Management, Finance) with a minimum GPA of “Very Good” (3.75/5.00).
  • Master’s Degree: A full-time (non-executive) Master’s degree in Business Administration or a relevant discipline from an accredited institution with a minimum GPA of “Very Good” (3.75/5.00).
  • Specialization Alignment: Applicants with degrees in disciplines other than business are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
  • English Proficiency: You must provide official scores meeting these minimums (STEP is not accepted for this program):
    • TOEFL iBT: 79
    • IELTS Academic: 6.5
  • Aptitude Testing: Submission of a GMAT result report is mandatory for all applicants to this program.
