Program Description

The program aims to prepare competent anesthesia technologists equipped with both theoretical knowledge and practical clinical skills essential for safe and effective perioperative care.

  • Clinical Mastery:
    • Conduct safe and efficient anesthesia for various surgical procedures, tailored to patients with complex medical profiles.
    • Anticipate, recognize, and manage perioperative complications and anesthesia-related emergencies.
    • Perform advanced clinical procedures, including airway management, vascular access, and regional anesthesia.
  • Scientific & Critical Thinking:
    • Synthesize knowledge from biomedical sciences to create and implement appropriate anesthetic plans.
    • Apply evidence-based medicine to clinical decision-making and stay updated with contemporary technological advancements.
    • Design and execute research projects that address existing challenges in the field of anesthesia.
  • Professionalism & Leadership:
    • Demonstrate ethical conduct and maintain patient confidentiality in all professional interactions.
    • Collaborate effectively as a leader or member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
    • Communicate clinical findings and research results clearly in both Arabic and English.
  • Teaching & Community Service:
    • Transfer knowledge and experience to colleagues and junior medical students through formal and informal teaching.
    • Engage in community healthcare awareness and quality improvement initiatives.
