Program Description

The program fulfill needs of labor markets in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, by providing scientific oriented courses instead of professional courses and, providing a scientific accounting program qualifying for admission to doctoral program in accounting field.

Advanced Technical Knowledge: Demonstrate a deep understanding of advanced financial reporting, auditing, and specialized discipline knowledge such as Zakat and Tax.

Critical Thinking & Problem Solving: Apply scientific methodology to solve practical accounting problems in both the public and private sectors.

Ethical Professional Conduct: Understand and adhere to the rules of conduct and the practitioner’s responsibility to clients and the community.

Research Proficiency: Develop the skill to conduct academic and applied research aimed at resolving complex issues in the business community.

PhD Readiness: Qualify intellectually for admission into doctoral programs through a curriculum that emphasizes theoretical foundations.

Capital Market Analysis: Understand and analyze the relationship between accounting information and share prices within capital markets.

In addition to meeting the requirements provided in higher education legislation, and King Saud University general requirements for admission to a graduate program click here , applicant must: 

  • Have a bachelor degree in accounting with at least a (very good) GPA.
  • Obtain a minimum score of 5.5 in IELTS or its equivalent score in TOEFL; STEP is not accepted.
