Program Description

The Bachelor in Aircraft Maintenance is designed to impart to graduates the appropriate knowledge and skill and qualify them to act as maintenance technologists on modern day aircraft. It also aims at equipping them with the right and diverse competencies, both hard and soft, which enable them to become well-rounded technical contributors to the national and international aviation system.

– an ability to apply knowledge, techniques, skills and modern tools of mathematics, science, engineering, and technology to solve broadly-defined engineering problems appropriate to the maintenance of aircraft;

– an ability to design systems, components, or processes meeting specified needs for broadly-defined engineering problems appropriate to the technology of aircraft;

– an ability to apply written, oral, and graphical communication in broadly-defined technical and non-technical aviation environments; and an ability to identify and use appropriate technical literature;

– an ability to conduct standard tests, measurements, and experiments and to analyze and interpret the results to improve processes; and

– an ability to function effectively as a member as well as a leader on technical teams.

Lebanese Baccalaureate or equivalent.

The curriculum combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on practical skills and a capstone project. Key areas covered in the program include: 
  • Aircraft Systems: Understanding propulsion sciences, airplane hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and fuel systems.
  • Maintenance Practices: Gaining practical experience with tools, materials, inspection, repair, overhaul, and manufacturing techniques.
  • Aviation Legislation and Human Factors: Learning the regulatory framework and safety consciousness required in the industry.
  • Applied Knowledge: Integrating knowledge of computational techniques and aircraft maintenance management.
  • Communication Skills: Developing strong interpersonal and communication skills, including technical report writing and public presentations.
