Bachelor of Arts in Arabic Language and Literature

1. Students should be able to enhance their literary writing skills.
2. Students should be able to speak out in public and express themselves orally.
3. Students should be able to develop their Arabic literary culture regarding both poetry and prose.
4. Students should be able to develop analytical skills and critical thinking.
5. Students should be able to submit scientific researches in each course.
6. Students should be able to expand their knowledge in Arabic language and its grammar.

SAT minimum 870 (950 preferred), English proficiency (TOEFL 527 paper-based or 71 internet-based or IELTS 6.0), high school diploma with good grades.

Major Core Requirements consist of 39 credits covering various aspects of Arabic language and literature, leading to a senior study. Students also complete 12 credits of Emphasis Requirements from elective courses focusing on specialized areas within Arabic studies. General education courses and free electives make up the remaining credits.
