Program Description

The Management Information Systems (MIS) program at Qatar University prepares students for successful careers by integrating technology and business management, enabling them to develop innovative technological solutions to solve business challenges. Students majoring in MIS earn a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in MIS and have the option to select a minor in one of the following areas:

  • Business Analytics
  • Taxation
  • Entrepreneurship and Innovation

Graduates of the MIS program will be able to:

 Critically plan, analyze, and design information systems. 

 Define, manage, and utilize data for informed business decision-making. 

 Integrate ethical considerations into business decision-making. 

 Identify and align information system resources with business strategies. 

 Apply a global perspective to information systems decision-making.

High school diploma or equivalent with 70% average, pass placement test, English proficiency, additional tests as per major
