Program Description

Focuses on practical study of human behavior and personality through application of psychological theories

  1. Identify the basic principles and concepts of applied psychology and apply them across various professional fields.

  2. Identify the key psychological, social, and biological elements that help explain behavioral and psychological phenomena.

  3. Participate in situations that require critical thinking and creative problem-solving using various psychological problem analysis methods.

  4. Design research studies in the field of applied psychology and interpret their results accurately and ethically in accordance with scientific research standards.

  5. Develop effective interactive relationships with others and enhance the ability to work collaboratively in teams.

  6. Demonstrate adequate knowledge and skills in writing and presenting various psychological topics using modern technological tools.

  7. Apply the concepts, principles, and theories of applied psychology in work environments—particularly in job identification, job analysis, employee selection, and solving workplace problems for employers and employees.

  8. Participate in projects and tasks handled by specialists in applied psychology and demonstrate their impact on self-development.

  9. Acquire the necessary skills to administer and interpret psychological tests and assessments.

  10. Implement the practical skills required for the major by utilizing laboratories and benefiting from field training. (Please refer to the program page on the university’s website.)

UAE High School Certificate with 80% for Scientific Track or 90% for General Track, English proficiency (IELTS 5.0 or TOEFL 500 or EmSAT 1100), pass Mathematics and Sciences exam with 800 or higher
