Program Description

The program aims to provide students with advanced scientific knowledge and practical skills, enabling them to meet the increasing challenges in dental technology.

Graduates of the program are expected to achieve advanced competencies in the following areas:
  • Advanced Technical Mastery: Gain comprehensive expertise in designing and constructing fixed and removable dental prostheses, as well as orthodontic and maxillofacial appliances.
  • Digital Integration: Proficiency in modern CAD/CAM systems, dental scanning, and digital imaging techniques used in contemporary dental laboratories.
  • Research Proficiency: Develop the ability to plan, conduct, and present original scientific research through a master’s thesis, contributing to solutions for modern challenges in dental technology.
  • Laboratory Management: Acquire leadership and administrative skills for managing dental laboratories and services in both public and private healthcare sectors.
  • Professional Ethics & Quality: Demonstrate a strong commitment to professional ethics and adherence to high-quality standards in dental technology practice.
  • Critical Problem-Solving: Use analytical skills to evaluate complex dental anatomy and occlusion problems and propose effective technical solutions.
  • A bachelor’s degree in regular attendance in Dental Technology or one of the Health Science specializations from King Saud University or any other recognized institution with at least a “Good” grade (GPA ≥ 2.75 out of 5 or equivalent).

  • An Academic IELTS score of ≥ 5.0 (or equivalent).
