Program Description
- Knowledge and Comprehension:
- Deep understanding of modern theories and theoretical frameworks in physical education.
- Proficiency in modern technologies and measurement tools used in sport sciences.
- Cognitive (Mental) Skills:
- Ability to use the scientific method to solve problems in educational or professional sport settings.
- Capacity to analyze, construct, and connect scientific bases for physical activities.
- Professional and Practical Skills:
- Designing specialized training programs and educational curricula, including Individualized Education Programs (IEP) for students with disabilities.
- Applying assessment and research skills to serve national and regional sport communities.
- General Skills:
- Effective communication and teamwork in professional sports and academic environments.
- Autonomous learning and the ability to self-assess personal educational needs.
-Academic Background: A bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a closely related field from KSU or an accredited university.
-GPA Standards: A minimum cumulative GPA of “Very Good” (3.75/5.0). Applicants with relevant degrees in other disciplines may be considered but might need to complete complementary courses.
-Entrance Exams: Candidates must pass a written examination administered by the department.
-Personal Interview: Successful completion of an interview with the Department Committee of Graduate Studies.
-Competitive Weighting: Admissions are often calculated based on:
50% Bachelor’s GPA
25% Personal Interview
20% Written Exam
5% Previous professional experience.
-Preferences: The committee prefers candidates with demonstrated skills in English and Computer Science.
