Program Description

This program stands out by preparing graduates to assume their professional role in advanced clinical and hospital pharmacy practice in various work settings such as hospitals, primary healthcare, health education, and healthcare institutions across both governmental and private sectors.

  • The program has been designed so that the student acquires the necessary skills and abilities in the fields of theoretical and clinical treatments that place him in the main sites of practice.
  • The student acquires the necessary skills and abilities in the fields of theoretical and clinical treatments that place him in basic, applied and clinical practice institutions.
  • The curriculum also provides students with information at the core of basic professional knowledge, and skills in clinical scientific research methods, and evaluation the medical and pharmaceutical publications, including the necessary statistical analysis methods which important for selecting clinical research hypotheses.
  • Degree: A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from KSU or an equivalent accredited institution.
  • GPA: A minimum cumulative GPA of “Very Good” (3.75/5.00) or equivalent.
  • Professional Registration: Applicants must hold a valid professional classification as a pharmacist from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
  • English Proficiency: You must submit a valid score from one of the following:
    • IELTS: Minimum 6.0.
    • TOEFL iBT: Minimum 61.
    • STEP (Standardized Test of English Proficiency): Minimum 85.
  • GRE: A minimum score of 148 in the Quantitative section is required.
  • Letters of Recommendation: Two academic or professional recommendation letters from professors or supervisors.
  • Statement of Purpose: A written essay outlining your clinical interests, research goals, and motivation for joining the program.
  • Identification: A copy of your National ID (for Saudis) or Passport/Iqama (for international applicants).
