Bachelor of Interior Design

At CAAD, we prepare dynamic, creative individuals like you in establishing a career as a professional interior designer. We do this by offering the most competitive interior design program in the region, introducing you to a world of ideas and skillful craftsmanship. Over the four year program, your design skills will be enhanced by an interactive learning experience of drawing and making. You will also have unique opportunities to join teams for travel abroad to places such as Spain, Italy and Japan, guided. by our faculty.

High school diploma with minimum 80% average or equivalent, English proficiency (IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 80 or EmSAT 1550), SAT or equivalent aptitude test, motivation letter and recommendation letters for specialized programs

• Foundations Program: All CAAD students complete a common first year (foundations program) that establishes basic practical and critical understanding of design principles before advancing into their specific major.
• Studio Work: The curriculum emphasizes hands-on, studio-based learning where students work with faculty mentors to develop and refine their design skills.
• Interdisciplinary Learning: Students work on real-life projects alongside students and faculty from other design fields, such as architecture and graphic design.
• General Education: The program has a strong liberal arts focus, incorporating general education courses in areas like natural sciences, mathematics, communication, and the history and culture of the Arab world.
• Professional Readiness: The curriculum is designed to prepare graduates for professional practice in the UAE and the broader region, meeting international accreditation criteria.
