Bachelor of Education – Secondary Education

The B.Ed. Program in Secondary Education aims at helping the students to:

• Gain the knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary for secondary school teachers.
• Implement student-centered, standards-based pedagogy at the secondary level.
• Participate in the ongoing progress of teaching and learning.
• Contribute to ongoing educational research in Qatar by teaching and modeling inquiry methodologies and data-informed instruction.

• High Schools: minimum 70% average for public school graduates.

• All students must enroll in the program full time.

• Male & female students can enroll in this program.

• Math, Chemistry. Biology, Physics Students are required to pass the foundation program.

• For the English / ESL concentration students, TOEFL IBT score of ≥ 61 or IELTS ≥ 5.5 is required.

• Pass the personal interview
