3. Business Core Requirements (45 Credit Hours)

Sixteen modules covering fundamental business subjects including finance, law, marketing, information systems, and an internship:

4. Track Requirements (15 Credit Hours)

A. Entrepreneurship Track

Students choose 15 credits from entrepreneurship-focused courses:

Students choose 15 credits from various business disciplines with a maximum of 6 credits in each area, including electives from Marketing (MKTG), Finance (FINC), Entrepreneurship (ENTR), and Management Information and Communication Technology (MICT).

5. General Electives (12 Credit Hours)

Opportunities to venture outside the subject curriculum to broaden horizons, improve language skills, or learn new subjects.

6. Optional CO-OP Program (3 Credit Hours)

The BUSC 000/4000 – Experiential Learning: CO-OP is highly competitive with limited capacity. Students enrolled in CO-OP cannot concurrently enroll in other courses.

Admission Requirements

Application Timeline and Prerequisites

Students must apply in their third semester after completing no fewer than 27 credit hours, including these specific courses:

• ACCT 201/2001 Financial Accounting (3 cr.)

• ECON 201/2021 Introduction to Macroeconomics OR ECON 202/2011 Introduction to Microeconomics (3 cr.)

• MACT 210/2222 Statistics for Business (3 cr.)

Selection Criteria

Admission is competitive based on an equally weighted score between:

1. Overall GPA (minimum 27 credit hours completed)

2. Major GPA (minimum 12 credit hours of business-related courses completed)

Students may be eligible to exclude their lowest grade from GPA calculations if they have completed 30+ credit hours (overall GPA) or 15+ credit hours (major GPA).
