1. Core Curriculum (37 Credit Hours)

The foundation of AUC’s liberal arts education ensures all students receive strong grounding in traditional liberal arts and sciences. This includes the capstone course BADM 480/4001 – Business Planning and Strategy (3 cr.).

Application Timeline and Prerequisites

Students must apply in their third semester after completing no fewer than 27 credit hours, including these specific courses:

  • ACCT 201/2001 Financial Accounting (3 cr.)

  • ECON 201/2021 Introduction to Macroeconomics OR ECON 202/2011 Introduction to Microeconomics (3 cr.)

  • MACT 210/2222 Statistics for Business (3 cr.)

Selection Criteria

Admission is competitive based on an equally weighted score between:

  1. Overall GPA (minimum 27 credit hours completed)

  2. Major GPA (minimum 12 credit hours of business-related courses completed)

Students may be eligible to exclude their lowest grade from GPA calculations if they have completed 30+ credit hours (overall GPA) or 15+ credit hours (major GPA).
