This course introduces contemporary management concepts, principles, theories, and practices within the business sector. Key topics include the nature and importance of management, the evolution of management thought, and core management functions such as planning, decision-making, organizing, directing, and controlling. The course also explores organizational functions including production and operations, purchasing, marketing, human resources, logistics, financial management, research and development, and knowledge management.
