Program Description

The program focuses on bridging the gap between theoretical electrical engineering and real-world industrial application. It prepares students for technical leadership roles in sectors like telecommunications, power systems, and automation

1. Engineering Analysis & Problem Solving
  • Identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of mathematics, science, and engineering.
  • Analyze and interpret data obtained through experimentation to draw evidence-based conclusions.
2. Design & Technical Proficiency
  • Apply engineering design to produce solutions that meet specific needs while considering public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global and environmental factors.
  • Use modern engineering tools, software, and laboratory equipment for professional analysis and design.
3. Professionalism & Communication
  • Communicate effectively with a range of audiences, both orally and in written reports.
  • Function effectively on multidisciplinary teams, providing leadership and creating collaborative environments.
  • Recognize ethical and professional responsibilities, considering the global impact of engineering solutions.
4. Contemporary Issues & Lifelong Learning
  • Demonstrate knowledge of contemporary and global issues affecting the engineering field.
  • Recognize the necessity of lifelong learning and the ability to acquire and apply new knowledge as needed for career progression.
  • Composite Score Calculation:
    • 30% Cumulative High School GPA (typically 90% or higher for engineering).
    • 30% General Aptitude Test (Qudurat).
    • 40% Scholastic Achievement Test (Tahsili).
  • Process: Admitted students first enroll in the First-Year Common Program at Al-Muzahimiyah. After completing the second year of study, students are officially assigned to the Applied Electrical Engineering major based on competitive GPA rankings and available seats.
  • Additional Criteria: Applicants must be under 25 years of age and pass a mandatory medical examination.
