Program Description
Demonstrates specialized knowledge and motivation for innovation, self-learning, and collaborative learning in Islamic studies and its related fields, including relevant concepts, principles, theories, skills, attitudes, rules, and standards.
Applies the foundations and principles of various Islamic studies subjects — including Quranic sciences, principles of interpretation, recitation and Tajweed, jurisprudence, Hadith, and theology — to enhance effective communication skills such as teaching, preaching, leading prayers, issuing fatwas, and understanding diverse religious and heritage texts, while upholding the values of Islamic moderation and religious tolerance.
Selects appropriate research, critical, and technological methods to distinguish between jurisprudential, interpretative, Hadith, and intellectual schools of thought, both classical and modern, along with their various research orientations, theories, and applications, in a contemporary style that combines authenticity and modernity.
Employs reflective thinking, critical analysis, and self-assessment skills to develop knowledge, competencies, and values related to Islamic studies.
Develops research, analytical, and communication skills related to Islamic studies in their research, technical, and leadership dimensions, contributing to the preservation of Islamic studies and solving problems associated with their applications in daily life, social communication, academic publishing, and technological development in innovative ways.
Appreciates the role of scientific, research, and technological advancements in revealing the historical, theoretical, and material foundations of the relationship between Islamic studies, other divine religions, and human cultures, and in strengthening their current and future functional roles in advancing humanity as a whole.
Assumes responsibility for promoting Islamic studies, their subjects, and their moral and human values; fostering belonging and enthusiasm for learning, teaching, and spreading them; understanding Islamic texts; and embodying their ethics on both individual and social levels.
