Program Description

The Department of Pharmaceutics is responsible for teaching courses in all areas of pharmaceutics, including pharmaceutical microbiology. The department aims to provide students with a solid scientific background in the design and evaluation of modern drug dosage forms. It also focuses on the study of biopharmaceutics and drug kinetics and their impact on the design of pharmaceutical preparations.

The department’s courses also aim to link biopharmaceutics and drug kinetics with pharmacognosy and pharmaceutical technology, providing the necessary knowledge for a precise understanding of the forms and design of modern drug dosage forms. In addition, the department equips students with foundational knowledge in pharmaceutical microbiology, which deals with microorganisms theoretically and practically, including their microscopic, chemical, and biological study.
