• Students will identify and apply major critical theories and schools in linguistics, literature, and translation, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of diverse approaches to literary and linguistic analysis.
• Students will be introduced to major works that belong to various literary genres across different historical eras, enabling them to appreciate and critically engage with works of literature.
• Students will interpret literary texts in light of their cultural, socio-political and historical contexts.
• Students will employ appropriate methodologies and critical tools to conduct specialized research in literary studies and advance scholarly knowledge in the field.
• Students will develop diverse language skills, encompassing written and spoken communication, and will acquire the necessary vocabulary, terminology, and idioms to produce competent texts and engage in coherent conversations in English.
