The Infection Control Track is part of the Biomedical Sciences Master’s (MBS) at Alfaisal University. It is a specialized graduate program aligned with international standards, delivered in partnership with King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre. The program provides hands-on training in infection control, outbreak response, and hospital hygiene protocols. It aims to equip participants to lead hospital infection prevention programs and become key players in healthcare reform. The program is designed for ambitious professionals ready to lead the future of healthcare safety in Saudi Arabia and beyond, focusing on infection prevention as a strategic advantage critical to the Kingdom’s health and wellbeing under Vision 2030. It addresses the rising demand for infection prevention specialists due to hospital-acquired infections (HAIs) and supports the country’s growing network of qualified professionals in hospital safety and public health.
