Program Description

Aims to spread literary, linguistic and critical knowledge and prepare specialized professional cadres

Demonstrates specialized knowledge and motivation for innovation, self-learning, and collaborative learning in the study of the Arabic language and its literature, as well as related concepts, principles, theories, skills, attitudes, rules, and relevant standards.

Applies the rules of the Arabic language—morphology, grammar, and rhetoric—to enhance effective communication skills in reading, writing, and speaking, and to deepen his understanding of various religious and heritage texts.

Selects appropriate research, critical, and technical methodologies to distinguish between the different eras of Arabic literature—ancient and modern—their diverse artistic trends, literary and linguistic schools, and their theories and applications.

Employs reflective thinking, critical analysis, and self-evaluation skills to develop knowledge, skills, and values related to the Arabic language and its literature.

Develops linguistic and literary skills in their research, technical, and leadership dimensions, contributing to the preservation of the Arabic language and its literature, and solving problems related to their use in daily life across social communication, academic publishing, and technological innovation.

Appreciates the role of scientific, research, and technological developments in uncovering the historical, theoretical, and material foundations of the relationship between Arab culture and other human cultures, and in enhancing its functional and future role in elevating humanity.

Assumes responsibility for promoting the Arabic language and its literature, strengthening belonging to it, and fostering the desire to learn, teach, and disseminate it, as well as understanding religious and heritage texts and embodying their ethical values.

UAE High School Certificate with 80% for Scientific Track or 90% for General Track, English proficiency (IELTS 5.0 or TOEFL 500 or EmSAT 1100), pass Mathematics and Sciences exam with 800 or higher
