Program Description
Develop collaboration and ideation skills in game design, learn to prototype original ideas and test them for minimum viable product, unlock creativity across various disciplines.
High school diploma or equivalent, English proficiency test (IELTS/TOEFL), personal essay, two recommendation letters, must be enrolled in a major at the university
Minor Requirements (18 Cr.)
Minoring students must complete 6 out of the 7 courses by choosing either DSGN 3235 Animation or CSCE 3103 Object-Oriented Programming.
Some of the courses could double count towards their respected Majors or Minors.
CSCE 106/1001 – Fundamentals of Computing I (3 cr.)
DSGN 200/2200 – Design Foundations (3 cr.)
DSGN 000/2300 – Prototyping for Designers (3 cr.)
DSGN 335/3235 – Animation (3 cr.) or CSCE 317/3103 – Object Oriented Programming (3 cr.)
DSGN 000/3300 – Digital Prototyping Tools (3 cr.)
DSGN 000/3400 – Digital Game Design (3 cr.)
