Specialized Expertise: Advanced knowledge in one of the program’s four main tracks: Transport Phenomena, Process Control, Chemical Industries, or Material Engineering.
Industry Integration: Ability to strengthen links between academia and industry by applying doctoral-level research to specific industrial challenges within the Kingdom.
Scientific Communication: Proficiency in communicating research findings through a high-quality doctoral dissertation and peer-reviewed publications.

The applicant must hold a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from King Saud University or from any other recognized institution.
The applicant must hold a Master of Science degree in regular study mode in Chemical Engineering or related engineering fields from King Saud University or any other recognized institution, with a grade of no less than “Very Good” if the university uses grades, and a cumulative GPA of 3.75/5 or equivalent. The applicant must contact the department to confirm whether their specialization is considered a related engineering field before applying through the electronic admissions portal.
The applicant must have a minimum score of 6 in the IELTS Academic test or its equivalent.
The applicant must have a minimum score of 144 in the quantitative section of the GRE General test, or a minimum score of 65 in the quantitative section of the General Aptitude Test for university graduates.
