The PhD in Civil Engineering at King Saud University (KSU) is designed to cultivate advanced research capabilities and technical expertise in specialized areas of infrastructure and environmental engineering.
The applicant must meet the following requirements:

The applicant must hold a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Civil Engineering) under the regular study system from King Saud University or from any other recognized institution, with a grade of no less than Very Good and a cumulative GPA of 3.75 out of 5 or its equivalent.

The applicant must hold a Master of Science degree under the regular study system in Civil Engineering from King Saud University or from any other recognized institution, with a grade of no less than Very Good (if the awarding university uses a grading system) and a cumulative GPA of 3.75 out of 5 or its equivalent.

The applicant must obtain a minimum score of 6.0 in the IELTS Academic test or its equivalent.

The applicant must obtain a minimum score of 65 in the General Aptitude Test for University Graduates or its equivalent.
