The program includes 142 credit hours, including courses in basic medical sciences, anatomy, linguistics, phonetics, fluency, and swallowing difficulties. The program also consists of the physical sciences of sound, hearing, and balance sciences. The program includes supporting specialized sciences such as psychology and special education. To ensure that the student masters the skills and competencies in the various fields required by the labor market, the program also includes advanced clinical training in the speech and language services and hearing and balance services sectors.
